0935-Coffee cake was great! After my morning study I made breakfast and prepared to depart. I will be off shortly.

1135-Arrived new site. Leg of 8.7 miles. Had to really hunt for this one! Nice rock about 100 yards long with a few trees. Enough to tie up but it was a challenge requiring two extra extension lines to reach. I also put out two bow lines since both are poor ties and I don't want the boat going sideways on me again!

1220-I ran about 2.8 miles today until I ran out of gas and switched tanks.
Summary:
Leg 1 = 17.8 miles, Leg 2 = 6.8 miles, Leg 3a = 12.2 miles, Leg 3b = 6.2 miles, Leg 4a =2.8 miles. Total = 45.8 miles on Tank 1. Estimated range Tank 1 & 2 = 91.6 miles or 5.1 miles/gal. Total range all tanks 36 gal. at 5 miles/gal. = approximately 180 miles range.
NOTE: Later I determined I got only 40 miles range on Tank 2. Revised estimated total range is 170 miles @ 4.75 mi/gal
1400-After washing the dishes I went to where I thought would be a good sitz bath but it didn't work out. A seiche dropped the water level so there was not enough water exchange to the bath, so I moved down the shore to find a different spot. Pretty brisk water temps! I would have preferred the shower but it's just too windy. I may have a glass of wine and some snacks while I listen to music.

1450-I sat on the aft deck with some white wine and peanuts. It is clouding over and there is a cool breeze. It says 72F/73F but I don't believe it!

1530-I gathered some firewood and rocks to make a fire ring, assuming it doesn't rain. It is supposed to start about 2200.

1630-Dinner was chicken wild rice soup, salad, roll, and white wine. Completed the clean up. Temps 70F/66F. While getting frozen foods out for tomorrow dinner I discovered I left hamburger buns at home. I had made a last minute decision to switch to fresher buns when packing up, but it didn't happen. Beware of last minute changes that are not on your checklist!
1820-Started a fire after reading for a while over on the entrance side of the channel. Rain threatened and as soon as I got the fire going it began to rain!

Well I was trying to read a regular parade of sailboats began to march in single file passing by heading into Root Bay anchorage. Must be some kind of flotilla with everyone following each other. At least they are up around the bend and out of my sight thank goodness and at least they are sailboats!

I may go out again if the rain stops. In the meantime its time for some Bailey's and chocolates for dessert. Winds are now calm, it is overcast, and raining. 68F/66F. Solar 95%.
1840-Still raining and another sailboat arrived there are now 6 in Root Bay. Enjoyed the Bailey's. Not looking good for a fire tonight and it is getting late and the chance of rain only increases through the evening.
1850-Sailboat #7 just came in. What a zoo! Who would want to travel that way? I gave up on the fire. It will wait until tomorrow.

1905-I'm listening to my audio book now and plan to go to bed early, since I was up late last night sitting around the fire.
